Ongoing Pension Plan Consulting for Employers

The pension world is undergoing a significant shift, presenting employers and employees with numerous challenges that will shape their financial futures. The needs of individuals and the characteristics of the working period during which they save for retirement have changed, leading to the realization that the foundations of the old pension world are no longer suitable.

In recent years, regulatory guidelines in Israel have aligned with global trends, promoting ethical and responsible behaviour and establishing new work methods that require all stakeholders, including employers, to adapt and prepare.

Zviran offers a paradigm shift, viewing the pension future as an integral part of an employee’s current financial well-being. We provide employers with solutions and tools to establish optimal corporate pension arrangements, while keeping pace with changing regulations. At the same time, we offer employees tools and services to define and achieve their personal financial goals, addressing the challenges of the pension environment and providing tailored solutions for each employee.

Our vision at Zviran is to connect the fields of compensation and pensions to enable a better financial future for employees, creating a new standard of service, reliability, and transparency in a world where external interests can distort the best outcomes for both employers and employees.

Our professional and skilled team brings extensive experience, knowledge, and deep understanding of the worlds of compensation and pensions. What makes Zviran unique is our ability to integrate unique, high-quality global solutions in the fields of compensation, benefits, and pensions.

Pension and insurance benefits are the most expensive in financial terms. Despite their importance to employees’ financial futures, these matters are often managed on autopilot. For HR professionals, this area is often seen as complex and confusing, with ever-changing regulations making it even harder to follow.

Zviran offers employers ongoing consulting to assist in managing these critical programs, covering topics such as:

  • Pension (pension funds, provident funds, and managers’ insurance products).
  • Life insurance
  • Long-term disability insurance
  • Study fund (a medium-term savings tool unique to Israel, offering significant tax benefits)

Our services aim to achieve the following goals:

  • Defining comprehensive organizational pension policies in response to regulatory, tax, and pension market changes, including continuous updates for your professional team, training, and position papers.
  • Redesigning the consultation process and making pension information accessible to employees, catering to both those handled by arrangement managers and those handled by direct pension funds (designated reports exclusive to Zviran, personal information videos, employee information portal, work process for 60-year-olds, pre-retirement consultation meetings, and more).
  • Selecting providers and expanding agreements with insurance companies, pension funds, and investment houses.
  • Managing processes for evaluating service providers and implementing Zviran’s innovative consultation methods, including selecting, certifying, and training portfolio managers to handle employees’ needs.
  • Conducting ongoing reviews of existing portfolio including direct arrangements, aligning systems between employers, arrangement managers, and insurance companies, and review insurance coverages (long-term disability insurance), severance balances, management fees, insurance tracks, and feedback (payment acknowledgement).
  • Performing comprehensive product mix assessments for individual employees and establishing work plans for those with suboptimal combinations.
  • Providing operational, clearing, and control support, including selection of operators and periodic audits with providers and arrangement managers.
  • Monitoring professional recommendations for employees.
  • Providing opinions on documents the company needs to approve and sign.
  • Improving terms of existing agreements (management fees, insurance costs, extensions, and definitions) and developing new models that align with market and regulatory changes.
  • Creating service level agreements (SLAs) with various arrangement managers and providers (including insurance companies, pension funds, and investment houses).
  • Assisting with all employee communications, including preparing communication documents.
  • Providing lectures on pension challenges, long-term savings investment strategies, tax issues upon termination of employment, and more (number of lectures will be agreed upon in advance).

Employee Consulting

In general, all employee consultations are provided through the arrangement manager and direct pension providers. However, in accordance with the work plan, we define all work processes with employees (new employee meetings, service meetings, exit meetings, retirement planning, etc.), including choosing portfolio managers, and then training and counselling them about work processes.  We emphasize that Zviran has developed unique work processes exclusively for companies we advise, such as pre-meeting steps, reports provided during the meeting, personalized information videos, and more. These processes have been implemented by all arrangement managers working with companies we advise and are offered to employees of those companies only. The arrangement managers are not permitted to use the tools developed by Zviran for clients that are not consulted by us. Additionally, we will monitor some employee meetings as part of our control processes.
