Subject list
Methodology
The array of benefits and terms of employment are divided into dozens of subjects collected in 20 chapters. For each chapter, employers are required to fill in a detailed, dynamic questionnaire (new questions open in response to answers for previous questions).
In order to provide answers for current questions in the constantly changing field of employment, questions are updated according to current trends (remote work, unlimited PTO, electric vehicles, etc.)
Employer replies undergo both automated and human auditing and are assembled into a database.
As in most cases the policy doesn’t vary by employee, the benchmark analysis is done by types of populations:
Executives, Middle Management, First Line Management, Professionals, Support Positions, Field Personnel (Service and Technicians), Sales Personnel, Call Center Positions.
Quantitative comparison
- Innovative module – the first of its kind – quantifying the value of benefits as a monetary sum and providing a comparable overview of the company’s positioning compared to market for all the benefits as a whole (or a list of benefits chosen), according to each population.
- The system calculates the monetary value of each benefit separately for each employer.
- In cases where the benefit’s value is dependent on an employee’s base salary or term of service, the system uses definitions shared for all employers (which each subscriber can customize) for each population.
- Calculated aspects (those that are quantifiable in monetary terms) of each benefit are detailed.
- Aspects that are not quantifiable in monetary terms: for each benefit additional factors can be set to reflect aspects that cannot be calculated, as they aren’t measurable (e.g. payment for sick leave from the first day, option to work remotely, etc.).
- Perceived value: a perceived value can be attributed to each benefit (from very low to very high, where each level can receive a percentage factor).
Deliverables
The benchmark data is provided via an advanced, secure web-based system, which enables:
- Overview of all benefits and terms of employment customary in Israel.
- Qualitative and quantitative comparison.
- Results include a summary of legal requirements and common practice regarding each subject, providing foreign multinationals to understand Israeli requirements and market practice.
- Results are available for specific sectors (e.g. hi-tech or pharma), company sizes, ownership types (e.g. subsidiaries of foreign multinationals), and more.
- Option to display benchmark data only from a custom peer group.
- Data presented in table or chart form, per user preference.
