FAQ

Is the data I submit open to other system subscribers?

No.
Your data is used, along with that of the other service subscribers, to create benchmark data for the entire market or segments of it.
It is not possible to single out the data of any specific employer from the data provided to clients.

In which languages is the system available?

Hebrew and English.

Does the PayData subscription include other services?

Yes, the subscription also includes:
- Option to participate in two annual flash updates per year, analyzing main trends including recruitment, dismissals, voluntary resignations, salary increases, bonus grants, “hot positions” and more.
- Option to receive student pay data free of charge.
- Ongoing support from Zviran’s experts.

How long before I receive results?

The time it takes to access market data depends mainly on the time it takes for the client to submit their data.
Once data is audited and approved, the client can define which samples they want and receive access to benchmark data within days.

Will I be able to know which employers provide data to PayData?

Yes.
Every subscriber is provided with a participants list whose data the PayData market benchmark data is based on, along with relevant details such as their sector, size, type, etc.
Of course, this does not enable knowing the data of any specific employer.

Can I receive data without submitting my own company’s data?

No.

How often is market data updated?

Usually twice a year.

Who can see the data?

Every organization defines their own Main User, who is responsible for data submission and has access to all company and sample data (all company employees, including HR and executives).
The main user grants access to the other users (and can define their access to HR and executive data).

How many users can use PayData from my company?

The subscription includes two user licenses.
More users can be added for an additional fee.

Can I receive support from Zviran?

Yes.
Each employer is assigned a personal client manager – a compensation and benefits professional – who will support the company during data submission, guide them on use of the system, answer questions, and more.

Is there data for every job, at every level?

Yes.
The PayData service provides data on over 1,300 jobs, in a variety of company sectors, sizes and types.
Data covers all levels, up to the CEO/GM.

What about information security ? This is sensitive data.

The system was built with advanced security standards:
- The system is built on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Strong data encryption both in storage and transit.
- Backed by the most advanced security tools.
- Zviran is ISO27001 and ISO27018 certified – the most globally recognized data security certifications.
- The system undergoes periodic penetration tests.

Will I be required to provide personal employee data?

No.
While the data clients provide is at the employee level, they do not include personal identifying information about employees (i.e., first names, surnames, national ID numbers, date of birth, address, gender, or any other identifying data).

Can I see the data according to only start-ups?

Yes.
You can define a peer group of dozens of start-ups.

What exactly is a peer group? How does it work?

Sometimes a client wants a benchmark of only companies from the same sector or companies with other similar characteristics (private vs. publicly traded companies, subsidiaries of multinationals, etc.)
Some companies want to analyze their compensation policy compared to a specific segment of the market.
Therefore, we enable clients to define their own peer groups that include specifically chosen companies, receiving benchmark data for that group in particular.
Each peer group must include at least 15 companies (in order to maintain each company’s confidentiality).

How often will I need to submit company data?

On enrollment and then once a year, usually after your annual salary update process.
